SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS BREAKS RECORDS WITH SUCCESS RATE IN ITS INNOVATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Madrid, December 12, 2023 – The SME SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS, leading Spanish consultancy in the management and commercialisation of innovation projects, concludes the year 2023 with a success rate of 57%, pointing that more than half of the proposals submitted under the Horizon Europe research and development programme were funded for its future execution.
With over 75 million euros in funding for research, development, and innovation activities, Sustainable Innovations remains a leading consultant in coordinating, managing, and advising on proposal writing in various sectors. Of the total proposals submitted in each sector, the consultancy achieved a success rate of 41% in energy and electric mobility, 30% in agriculture, food, and bioeconomy, 19% in Industry 4.0 and advanced materials, and 11% in environmental proposals.
The consultancy has obtained funding for new projects that will advance the development of more efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective energy storage technologies for the widespread adoption of electric vehicles, as well as the integration of renewables into the electrical grid, in collaboration with major companies in the sector. Other funded initiatives will work on demonstrating and promoting circular economy solutions that transform process-based industries and the agri-food sector, thus enhancing open collaboration between companies to reduce waste, implement more sustainable processes, and launch safer and more sustainable products in the digital and ecological transformation of the European economy.
