SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS puts its dissemination, exploitation & capacity building expertise at the service of PLAST2bCLEANED
SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS, as expert in dissemination, exploitation & capacity building, is part of the consortium that works in PLAST2bCLEANED, a project developing a human and environmentally safe recycling process for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
We are carrying out the communication strategy of this 48-month project to ensure that its findings are widely communicated to the general public. SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS is also responsible to manage the dissemination activities of the consortium with the aim of ensuring that this initiative’s results reach the relevant stakeholders who will use and implement them.
Likewise, by the end of the project, we will organize a series of knowledge transfer activities, to build on these capacities that will be key to exploit the project’s outcomes, results and findings.
PLAST2bCLEANED is working on very ambitious objectives for WEEE plastics recycling. By the end of the project in 2023, it would like to achieve a 100% recycling of polymer, bromine and antimony trioxide; obtain a 50% desired recovery yield; an overall increase of 8% in recycling rate in Europe, as well as consume 50% less energy.
At SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS we are glad to do our bit by carrying out extensive research on the market needs and helping to identify the Key Exploitable Results for bringing this innovation and research project to a commercially viable solution.
