SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS AND ITS ROLE IN THE LEE-BED PROJECT
The LEE-BED project, funded by the European Union, has successfully concluded its 4-year effort. This initiative has been focused on research and development to establish an open innovation testbed for nanomaterials and integrated lightweight electronic components.
During the LEE-BED project, Sustainable Innovations contributed to the formulation of a business plan as well as providing exploitation services taking the responsibility of ensuring the project’s long-term sustainability, with a focus on market exploitation and engaging end-users in utilising the project outcomes. Additionally, Sustainable Innovations developed a capacity-building platform to support the implementation of LEE-BED and strengthen the manufacturing of nanomaterials, smart, and lightweight embedded electronics.
